It'll Take Years (Or Hundreds Of Dollars) To Convert All Your Destiny 2 Armor With Its New Transmog System

Destiny 2’s transmog system has elements you can earn for free or pay for with premium currency, but limitations on what you can get in-game already have some players upset. As a few have already pointed out on Twitter and Reddit, the limitations on currency you can earn in-game for free means that converting your stock of armor into “ornaments” that can be applied to other armor–Bungie’s new transmogrification system–will take years.

The details on transmog were included in a This Week at Bungie blog post, which filled in gaps on the transmogrification system that Bungie has been talking about for a while now. The system allows you to convert any piece of armor you have into a “universal ornament,” which you can then equip to other armor to change its appearance. Essentially, if you like the look of one armor piece but not its stats, you can change it into a cosmetic ornament. Other MMOs have similar systems and allow players a greater degree of customization for their appe…

Jeff Bridges Will Return For Tron- Ares

When Tron: Ares was first announced, it was described as both a standalone sequel and the next chapter for the franchise. However, the film will apparently have a greater link to the past than previously expected. Jeff Bridges–the star of the original Tron from 1982 and its 2010 sequel, Tron: Legacy–has confirmed that he will appear as Kevin Flynn opposite Jared Leto in Tron: Ares.

Via The Playlist, Bridges made the announcement while appearing on the Film Comment podcast. “I’m heading off this Saturday to play a part in the third installment of the Tron story,” said Bridges. “I’m excited about that. It’s wild. Jared Leto is the star of this third one, and I’m really anxious to work with him, and I’ve admired his work.”

Leto is playing the film’s title character, Ares. But so far, none of the other characters have been revealed. Cameron Monaghan, one of the co-stars of the film, recently praised the sequel’s advancement in visual effects. That was also something that…

Marvel's Midnight Suns Review – XCOM Superhero Squad

Marvel’s Midnight Suns’ story draws clear inspirations from the original Rise of the Midnight Sons comic book series from the 1990s in which Blade, Morbius, and Ghost Rider–among others–unite to fight against a recently resurrected Lilith and her army of demons. Developer Firaxis Games’ title, however, incorporates more faces from the current Midnight Suns series, such as Wolverine, Magik, and Nico Minoru. In making these changes, it distances itself from the source material’s idea that to defeat a monster, you need a team of monsters. Instead, it is a story about the power of friendship between a bunch of misfits, which is forged and strengthed through battle as much as traditional social scenarios. Midnight Suns aims to combine relationship-building with memorable role-playing moments, and the result is a stellar turn-based tactical combat title driven by interesting characters.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns begins with the Avengers in a tough spot–the prophesied retur…

Lost Ark's Reaper Class Joins The Fray On November 16

The latest addition to Lost Ark’s roster of playable classes is coming November 16 in the form of the dagger-wielding Reaper, joining the Deathblade and Shadowhunter as the third Assassin advanced class.

As detailed in a new Lost Ark Academy blog post, Reapers are masters of stealth that bounce between three different attack modes: Normal, Chaos, and Persona. Players taking the Reaper for a spin will want to build up their Persona meter, which grants access to a number of stealth-focused abilities like Shadow Illusions and stealth attacks.
